We’re going to go through the most effective martial arts that you can try at our studio and try to see which is truly the best. Let’s do it!

Martial Arts

We offer a general adult martial arts class that is kind of a little bit of everything – and all of our students LOVE IT. You’ll learn how to throw kicks and punches, have a blast with fun-loving people, and break quite a sweat too.

We condition at the beginning of class, run through drills and teach new skills, and then finish with a cool off.

You WILL get sweaty in this class- so if you’re just starting to explore martial arts and looking for the best martial arts for fitness, our Adult Martial Arts class may be your best option.

Karate

Karate is a common form of martial arts practiced around the world. Karate is key to fighting an opponent bigger and stronger than you- you’ll use physics, motion, and lots of groundwork training to defend yourself no matter the size of your attacker.

Karate is super popular when it comes to women’s self defence, too. If you’re looking to work your core in particular, go with Karate – punching and kicking techniques, with emphasis on head-height kicks, jumping spinning kicks, and fast kicking techniques! All who desire shredded abs, attend a Karate class – might be the best martial arts for fitness for you.

Karate and Taekwondo

Karate and Taekwondo will both turn your entire body into a self-defence machine.

Our Karate classes are for you if you’re looking to train competitively and fight on the mat. You’ll also learn how to attack with your punching and kicking.

Taekwondo teaches effective and practical self defence in a bootcamp style, as this form of martial arts was originally developed by General Choi as a combination of a Korean form, taek kyon, and the Japanese discipline karate.

Both forms promise a physique and excellent self defence training – the best martial arts for fitness is dependent on if you want to compete and use punching and kicking, or if you want to focus more on real life self defence applications.
